Why Does My Project Look Bad?

Why Does My Project Look Bad is a series of booklets informed by the time that I’ve spent working at the UW Design Help Desk the past year. Each book is designed to explore the common struggles that clients bring in and tackle them in an accessible and approachable way. Through tips, educational content, and makeovers, the project aims to provide a small contribution to visual communication design education for non-designers.

Why Does My Presentation Look Bad (volume one of the series) explores putting together a well-designed slide deck and what to keep in mind when building your presentation. Learn about layout, typography, and visuals, and how a few adjustments have the power to elevate your slides.
