Salus

Salus is a versatile scooter that represents health, well-being, and safety. Designed to eliminate the need for cumbersome crutches, Salus combines the convenience of electric scooters with the comfort and support of knee walkers, allowing users to switch between modes for maximum comfort and efficiency easily. Salus incorporates extendable bilateral footrests for your non-injured foot, seamlessly integrates the knee prop into the deck during your standard scooter ride, and provides a stable yet agile ride with a shock absorber between the two front wheels. When in use, Salus allows users to stay connected and be in control by pairing their mobile devices with its handlebar interface system, featuring customizable widgets that display key information needed during the ride, such as navigation, speed, battery, and settings to choose from for injury mode. The handlebar’s touchpoints are simplified to just three features: turn signals, acceleration throttle, and brakes – all arranged within a finger’s reach of the textured handle grips.Salus adapts to your needs and makes navigating campus effortless and energy-efficient, empowering students to maintain their independence and focus on their recovery as they commute to and around campus.
