A reimagined onboarding experience prioritizing efficiency for VR first-time users, tailored for UW NOMR (Novel Observation in Mixed Reality), an organization under the UW Physics Education Research Group. UW NOMR creates VR programs for UW students in 100-200-level physics lab activities.

Drawing from Maggie's two years as an undergraduate user researcher in the NOMR lab, she initiated this project to enhance the currently frustrating onboarding process, often observed during user research, as my capstone. The redesigned onboarding aims to offer a quick and smooth introduction and foster communication for both first-time users and their non-VR-using lab mates.
