Electronic Ephemerals
An effective visual system for a conference that aids electronic musicians in developing and publishing their work while maintaining the integrity of their craft. “Electronic'' refers to the bold, impactful music genre, which initially, was produced on analog equipment. When working with analog equipment, created sounds are not easily replicated, and this occurrence can be related to ephemerality.
“Ephemerals” juxtaposes the tactility of electronics, and is a double entendre. It represents the intangibility of memories and experiences, as well as the short life cycle of the class of flowers. Additionally, it is a metaphor for the attendees of the conference, who are emerging and growing musicians.
