Sound & Color
Sound & Color is an exhibit curated by Julia Saimo to celebrate her late brother, Samuel Saimo's body of artistic work. It uses different mediums such as flip books, wood-burned tags, projection, and large-scale prints to achieve different scales of experiencing Sam's drawings, photography, and videography. The exhibit explores Sam's creative work in an immersive experience involving light and sound to curate a beautiful atmosphere. It also explores the grief of losing a sibling and how the avenue of art becomes a vessel to learn more about oneself and any loved one who has been lost.
