The sport of bouldering requires specific equipment, and presents unique challenges in storing and transporting everything required within one singular pack. Hueco addresses the two primary concerns of organization and cleanliness through a series of segmented pouches and pockets, both inside the pack and on the exterior. A zippered compartment is placed on the lower front of the pack to be used to store a climber’s chalk bag, and other items that frequently come into contact with the powder. Two looping pouches are sewn into the middle front of the backpack for the easy storage of climbing shoes – which are often covered in chalk dust and dirt, while the climber switches to their walking shoes as they make their way from boulder to boulder. Items such as food, water, guidebooks and more, are kept away from all items that could potentially dirty them, creating a clean and immaculate climbing experience.
