Craft is a publication about creation, from the perspective of 7 college students.
What drives people to create? I spent 6 weeks interviewing creatives about their creative processes. I photographed each person in their workspaces, and I highlighted a few of their most important pieces that they’ve created in the pages of this book. This is a documentation of a variety of different mediums, pieces, and people. Craft is a self-published, photographed, designed, and hand sewn publication.
Working with one’s hands is a big part of being human. Creating is a big part of being human. Talking to other people about what they love is a big part of being human. Craft attempts to be all of these things.
