Apricity; meaning the warmth of the sun in the winter is a collection of interactive publications to support people as they go through the multitudes of seasons in their life. It takes inspiration from this poem, "think of those flowers you plant in the garden each year, they will teach you, that people too, must wilt, fall, root, rise, in order to bloom” (Rupi Kaur). Difficult times will always ebb and flow. Each journal represents a different part of that journey. Wilting acknowledges the complex and uncomfortable thoughts and feelings that lead to spiraling. Rooting helps support the painfully slow process of navigating the complicated path of healing. Blooming helps celebrate the growth that stems from going through difficult times.

It's a project that includes publication, branding and packaging design. The publications are meant to be there whenever people need them. No matter how many seasons past the sun will return, winter will turn into spring and flowers will always bloom.
